| Description: |
| Hole 1 is a moderate length, challenging opening hole. A Palo Verde blocks your view on the right and the left bunker seems to tighten the fairway in the driving area. A mid-iron is required to a very undulating green, protected by a greenside bunker and pot bunker on the left. Pin position is the key to the approach shot. Once on the green, there is no key to an easy 2-putt with a large swale on the left and numerous available pin placements. This is a quick introduction to Mr. Tom Weiskoff’s brilliance as a stratagem in golf design. |
